When is the best time for a Maternity session?
I recommend between 34 - 36 weeks. When you are still relatively comfortable but not at risk of having your baby and missing out on your session. However every pregnancy is unique and this may need to be adjusted for some Mothers.
What should I bring to my session?
Please bring along all clothing and accessories you may need. You can arrive and get your children dressed at the session if you are worried about them getting messy on the way. It is a great idea to ensure that children are well rested and have a full tummy before the shoot.
Please bring along any snacks or treats that may encourage your child during the shoot.
It is also a great idea to bring along a favourite toy or item that your child loves and you feel represents them as an individal.
When is the best time to photograph my newborn?
If you wish to have the curled up, sleepy and posed shots of your new baby, then it is recommended that we do this within the first 14 days of life. this is when your baby is still very sleepy and will settle better into the poses. After this time babies tend to "wake up" to their surroundings and it can make the session much more tricky.
Please note that I only do outdoor newborn shoots during the warmer months (excluding April - September) and will only shoot if the weather forecast is for 25 degrees and above.
If you are after relaxed lifestyle sessions in your home, then anytime in the weeks after your baby's arrival is fine
Will you give me all the images that you take?
No. The images you are provided are the best from the session. Other images deemed unsatisfactory are culled upon uploading.
I do not sell RAW or unedited images to my clients.
I carefully edit each image from your session by removing blemishies, correcting skin tones, white balances, colour casts and much more, before converting these images into high resolution files for printing and sharing. I ensure the product you end up with is of the highest quality artwork.
How long until I will recieve my images?
My current turnaround time is a minimum of three weeks after your session is shot and a maximum of six weeks.
I will post a sneak peek image from your session to my social media page within 48 hours of your session.
Where should I print my images?
I print all my images through a professional printing lab. This ensure that the images you recieve have accurate colour space. My monitor is callibrated to their printers ensuring what you see on your screen is what is delivered to you in print. My images are printed on high quality, lustre photo stock paper.
I also print Wooden Block Prints as well as Albums and Canvases
Please understand that when you print your images at 24 hour photolabs or online printing companies (such as Snapfish) the quality of the colours produced may not be an accurate reflection of your image. Please feel free to chat with me if you wish to print out your images yourself, so I can direct you to the best print services locally.

Payment is due in full prior to or on the day of the shoot.
Payment by installments is welcomed after the $200 deposit has been made.
